PDF Pouch does not upload the contents of files you select.

Document processing

PDF and image bytes are read and processed inside your browser tab. Results are created as temporary browser objects and are downloaded only when you choose. PDF Pouch has no application endpoint for receiving document contents.

Ordinary website requests

Your browser requests HTML, JavaScript, styles, PDF workers, and optional OCR language data from this site. The hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, time, requested path, browser metadata, and security logs. Those requests do not include the contents of the document you selected.

Local storage

PDF Pouch does not store selected documents in cookies or local storage. The OCR library may cache language model files in browser storage so they do not need to be downloaded again. We store your analytics preference in local storage so the site can remember your choice.

Analytics and advertising

PDF Pouch uses Google Analytics only after you select Allow analytics. Analytics may collect the page visited, referrer, general device and browser information, approximate location derived from network information, and interactions such as page views, scrolling, and outbound link clicks. Google Analytics is configured without Google Signals or advertising personalisation.

Analytics never receives the contents or names of documents you process. If you decline, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time through Privacy choices in the footer. See Google's privacy policy for information about Google's processing.
