About PDF Pouch

PDF Pouch is a collection of practical PDF and image tools built around local browser processing. The document you select is handled by application code on your device rather than uploaded to an application server.

Why local processing?

• Less data exposure. PDF Pouch does not need to receive or retain document contents.
• Fast common operations. Many edits avoid a server round trip.
• Simple access. There are no accounts, watermarks, or daily quotas.

Honest limitations

• Files are limited to 100 MB, a combined selection to 250 MB, and PDFs to 500 pages to reduce browser crashes.
• Compression, colour inversion, and some unlock operations rasterise pages, which removes selectable text and may increase file size.
• OCR is CPU-intensive and downloads a self-hosted language model the first time each language is used.
• Some PDF features are not supported consistently by every browser or third-party PDF library.
